When we originally defied God we became imprisoned in our flesh by our flesh. It separated us from God.
When I was able to humble myself and realize that my limited understanding of the world was not sufficient to answer that question of whether we as humans were the greatest consciousness in the universe, it necessitated the existence of faith. I’ve seen the world fall into the behavior of animals, almost worse at the absence of faith. People are so confused now they cannot even determine their own biology. We need a savior now more than ever as we are in a fallen world. Unfortunately, as a species we chose this. We chose the original sin and free will dictates outcomes.
It is bothersome that people will step back and be like “God lets this happen. How could he let this happen”. Like I referenced in a previous post, it wouldn’t be much of free will if he controlled us like robots. The true test of character is to be given the choice, to choose good, to choose love, and to choose the love of God.
These are just the confessions of my heart. To accept the gift of being saved from flesh and resurrected in spirit. The way I see it is this. We are fleshly and spiritual beings simultaneously and the spirit and flesh are at odds. The flesh tries to destroy the eternal spirit through vice, demons, and obsessions. If we give into flesh we are trapped in flesh. To give into the holy spirit we give into eternal life. The flesh will decay and rot away. So I choose to lay up my treasure and my life in the spirit, the spirit of God.
This is best captured in Matthew 6:19-21.
“19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal: 20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal: 21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.”
The spirit of God came to this 3d earthly existence to live among the muck and sin, to become sin so we didn’t have to and to conquer death through his spirit so that we may live in the spirit forever. It’s this that is my testimony, to have chosen Christ, the Messiah by faith, because it is beautiful and noble. To follow Christ who would give it all up for me being the perfect blameless sacrifice, to fulfill the old law and purchase me from sin, it brings a lump to my throat. To know that I need not be guilty anymore, for the price has been paid is why I owe it all to my Messiah, Christ Jesus, the son of Yahweh, who is Yahshua. This was the price he paid because I could not pay because I was trapped in flesh. When the price was paid and the law of the old testament was fulfilled with his innocent sacrifice, Christ made it very simple for us, which I hardly believe I deserve sometimes. It is stated very plainly in Romans 10:9.
Romans 10:9
“that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.”
Thank you Jesus.
